Online Gameplay: Basic Strategy - RTS

Axis and Allies, like many other RTS's, is all about economy (eco for short) and efficient control (micro for short) of fighting units. It'd be unwise to presuppose that both aspects of the game are equally as important in Axis and Allies because micro is a bit more important than eco. You can make all the money you want and buy whatever unit you want, but if you do not know how to efficiently handle them, winning will be a tough feat, if not impossible. What makes micro even more crucial to master, opposed to eco, is that in Axis and Allies, your units can heal themselves automatically (as long as they are in supply range). This means that your units can be infinitely recycled for battle. The fewer units you lose, the less money you need to spend on them and as a result, you can spend more money on improving your eco.
Unfortunately, in Axis and Allies, all countries are not made equally. USA is pretty much the best country in the game, followed by Great Britain and Japan. The two worst countries are Germany and Russia. On top of country inequality, there exists general inequality. Generals with the special of a bomb (V-rocket, Carpet bomb, nuke) and temporary economy boosts have a giant advantage over generals who don't have them.
The game play of Axis and Allies can be logically divided into roughly 3 battle-type stages:
Infantry, Mech (short for mechanized unit), and Tanks
